Get rid of the "stinky smell" in your cage! Our custom tray liners are made of 100% Polypropylene. They are absorbent and all you do is shake it out and put it in the washing machine. Yes these are both machine washable & machine dryable (on Medium Heat) and they dry very quickly. You won’t believe the difference. By using fleece you are training your little Suggies to go on their cage sets and in their pouches. Use this and they won’t mistake it for their toys! We’ve been testing them for months and the difference is amazing! These cage liners are custom made to fit whatever size tray you have in your cage, or add an inch on both sides, and lay it UNDER your reptarium! Check it out at: http://s323.photobucket.com/albums/nn452/rjstankus/Custom%20tray%20liners/ Hmmmm, why not buy two and have one ready for wash day? Pricing: $2.15 a square foot or $.0175 per square inch (which is still cheaper than most fleece!) Pricing examples: 18” x18” = $5.67 plus shipping. Colors available at this time: Royal Blue/Turquoise (as shown in the pictures) These liners just don't hold the stench like fleece, or newspaper lining! And, they are machine washable/dryable, and easy to use! Note: These custom tray liners have been tested to be used in the tray OUTSIDE of your Suggies cage. They have NOT been tested for inside cage use. If you’re interested you can pm me or e-mail me at stankus@bellsouth.net with your measurements and I'll be happy to give you a quote. I only charge actual shipping costs + $.65 Delivery confirmation. Thank you, :)gr8pots:)

How do you use these cage liners? I'm either extremely dense or a bit confused.

Pam ~ the cage liners go in the pull out tray of the cage. Hope this helps.

How do you use these cage liners? I'm either extremely dense or a bit confused. These custom cage liners are machine wash and dry and are placed in the tray under the grate in your gliders cage. They are used in place of newspaper so that all you have to do is shake them out (in the yard to fertilize the grass!) and throw them in the washer/dryer and put them back in the tray. At least one of these pictures should show where the liner is supposed to go. (I hope!) Custom Cage Liners If you have any other questions, please ask. Thanks for inquiring! Jana (gr8pots)

I recommend HIGHLY and sing Jana's praises!! Okay.. I have to add to my post. I have two places where I am using these in the bottom of the cages. I have a homemade cage that has odd shapes in the bottom. I placed the liners over the wire in the bottom (where I had previously used newspaper or puppy pee pads). This is the first time the gliders have refrained from using their own version of rearranging. Usually every day I have to replace the newspaper because it is shredded. The families have not even folded a corner over with their new "carpet". I take the liners and shake them outside and then put them back. I am soooooooooooooo impressed. Honestly, I thought I would have newspaper in the house forever. Thank you Jana

Hello people! I am the original tester of these AWESOME cage liners, and I gotta tell ya, THIS IS THE WAY TO GO!! My cage takes up a large portion of my living room, and now that I have "curtains" and "tray liners", you wouldn't even know there are animals in there! NO SMELL!! (except when I change out the liner, and put fleece in there until it is washed. Then, P.U.!!) So, if you haven't figured it out yet, I LOVE THESE LINERS!! I have 2 of them for my joey's cage now, and Destiny is very thankful! I'm awaiting the right time to order my back-up one for the living room. It's like 5 foot by 3 foot, so I gotta make sure that Jana is fully stocked! THANK YOU JANA!!!!

I have two of these liners too. One in a glider cage and the other in a bird cage. If anyone has birds, you KNOW how horrible their poop is....comes right off these liners!!!!
I have cages in my bedroom so anything to cut down on the odor is a necessity and wow, these things are great!!!

I received my custom cage liners yesterday and they are AWESOME!!! I was concerned the gliders would reach under the bottome grate into the tray and pull them up like they do with fleece. But that hasnt happened. I think as long as their nails are trimmed - this will not be a problem.
They fit perfectly. You can take them out once a day and shake them off - and put them right back in! I just put min in yesterday and have no odor. Since I can shake off the old food - Im going to leave them in for a week and see how it goes.
Laurie - thanks for the input on the bird cage. I HATE cleaning the bird cage and anything that will help would be a godsend!
LOVE THEM and will be ordering more!

I use fleece (that doesn't really fit well) but hate the way it looks if i don't change it every day. Can I just shake off the mess and put it back in then wash it once or twice a week? I was gone for four days and my husband was great about taking care of the gliders but there was no way he was cleaning out the bottom. This sounds like a great solution. I have a suncoast sturdy cage - as soon as I get the size of the tray I'll be ordering! Jana - Do you still have blue left? Or any type of green? I'd probably order 3 - maybe I'll get different colors. Do they shrink at all when you wash them like my fleece has? I'm very excited to try these!

I use fleece in the tray and also on the removable grate. I tuck it down the back of the grate and it stays snug. It is sooo easy.I just shake them out and wash them every other day. I like it on the grate so my suggies little feet don't get cold from the metal on the grate.

I use fleece inside also. I did that so they would have something soft to walk on and be able to get their food back when they drop it when they take it out of the kitchen.
I just think this cage liner is a great idea and would like to see if it's possible for the inside especially since it helps with odor control.

so do they really do take away the smell ? Lara, YES! It really does cut WAY down on the smell! The trick is, that when they pee on fleece, the fleece STINKS. When they pee on these, the liners do not create their own smell. It is a real life saver for those (like me) that have a keen sense of smell. My 6 foot cage is in my living room, and I can DEFINETELY tell the difference when I use fleece (on wash day) and when the tray liners are in tact. Hope that helps!

Hmmmm, why not buy two and have one ready for wash day? Pricing: $2.15 a square foot or $.0175 per square inch (which is still cheaper than most fleece!) Pricing examples: 18” x18” = $5.67 plus shipping. Colors available at this time: Royal Blue/Turquoise (as shown in the pictures) I must apologize for this original quote "which is still cheaper than most fleece". It has been brought to my attention (Thanks Nancy!) that if you do the math, yard for yard, these cage liners are not cheaper than fleece. I'm sorry if any one was misled by my miscalculations. The original prices quoted for these Custom Cage Liners are correct and will remain the same. That being said, these are still a great value and will significantly reduce your cage odor and simplify your life. With humility, Jana (gr8pots)

What is this material made out of? How is it different than other materials that hold odors? I am interest in your product however it does not state anywhere what it actually is. I am not the kind of person that can buy something for any of my special critters or my children without knowing what it is exactly.

Actually you guys, I use mine INSIDE my cage cuz I usually put fleece down. I have four cages in my bedroom so they can get loud running and clanking and the fleece on bottom cuts down on noise, plus, I like them having something a bit warmer for their tootsies when they're down their eating. I just shake these out and actually, they don't pull it up and hide under it like they sometimes do to the fleece and lemme tell ya......I was lazy and didn't get the liner washed and back in the cage and left the fleece and I had to get up in the middle of the night last night and take the fleece OUT of the cages cuz the smell was killing me! (I have a quad in one cage and it's got three males in it......)
Diana, I also have Suncoast cages as well so I'm sure she won't have a problem doing one in that size.

Chelle, she does say what it's made out of in her original post.... Our custom tray liners are made of 100% Polypropylene It's the same material that grocery bags are made of. You know, the ones you use over and over again? It's really strong material, but very thin and light weight.

I ordered them tonight Laurie. I'm really excited to try them. I have the gliders cage in our computer room that is adjacent to the living room with an air freshener going. It does a pretty good job of cleaning the air but I change the fleece daily so I do lots of laundry. I'm thinking these liners will cut down on laundry and take care of any extra smell. I glad I ran across this post - I was just think about looking for something different for the bottom of the tray.
