Roo, being a "teenager", has graciously and without shame, allowed pics to be taken of his penis, which seems to be out more often than in. LOL!
Sorry for the blurriness. It was hard to get an up close photo of something so small. He presents with many opportunities to photograph his penis, so when I can, I'll try to get better pics.
These show how a glider's penis is "forked".
http://s245.photobucket.com/albums/gg65/suggiemom1980/Roo/
It also shows how a males' pom normally hangs. This is how a pom should be in order to allow for safe and effective neutering.

Thank you for sharing the pics. I'm sure that for those who have not seen what a males anatomy looks like this will be a great visual tool.

Yes, the pom still hangs like that.

As promised, Roo posed for more pics. Well, kinda. He was asleep. Typical teenager, I guess.

http://s245.photobucket.com/albums/gg65/suggiemom1980/Roo/

The first two pics are his normal pose when he's awake and in his favorite place. It's hilarious to watch the look on peoples faces when he pokes his head out! LOL!

The rest of the new pics are dif ones of his penis to show how it may look for other males.

I'm glad I saw this. I saw my males penis and I thought something was wrong. Does it always hang out like that?

There are occasions when it does. One thing that you want to always watch for is if it continues to stay out for any length of time. If it stays exposed to the air, it will begin to dry out which can cause serious problems.
There will be times where you will also see a male glider 'floss' this is where he will take it all the way out (don't be alarmed at the length) and mess with it.
This is normal, especially for an un neutered male.

That is a new one on me! I had no idea females flossed too! I want to point out that when Roo does this, it's only when he's asleep on me. I know he does this, so I check once an hour or so and wake him up enough for it to go back in. At least till he's asleep again! LOL!

See... this is EXACTLY why I have a pom-free home! That looks like he has whip worms Cora. YUCKO!

Like I always say... the only reason my son still has his is because the vet won't risk the law suit in 10 years!

But yeah... educational use... good stuff (shudders).
