I was wondering if anyone knew where to find a pop up tent at a reasonable price. I did a search on here but I can never get things to come up like I want them too. I have a tent but I need one that can easily assemble and one that is easy to put away. Then it is only out at night when we are in it. My hubby says it looks messy so I have to find an alternative.

Nope... the Jr. one from Walmart- at least the one we have now has poles. I know what kind your looking for- I'm on an endless search for one myself! I think they're called Twist & Fold tents or something like that- they're the kind you just toss and they pop into the right shape?
I found one on ebay a while back and bought it except that it was going to end up costing me $60 total to have it shipped here from the UK! Needless to say I ended up not getting that one

C~ The ones from walmart are the same as the one you saw at my house... I'm looking for the pop up one too from Ebay... but that won't be for a while, I'll have to keep putting mine up and taking it down every day, except for when I am lazy and just move it aside...lol.

Is this the answer to letting my suggie run on you and play with you when you have to many hiding places and things that can hurt your suggie? How come noone has said anything to me before? This would a god send. Let me know if I am thinking the right idea here or just off my rocker again.

Yes, tents are AWESOME! the jr. dome tent from walmart is what I have, of course, as mentioned, I want a pop up tent. I bring the girls, the remote, my phone, their water bottle, and mealies... and we play, and watch tv... oh and some toys...

Yeah, endless search. I have looked all over the internet with no avail. Tents help with the bonding proces. Small space, no where to hide Tents are wonderful when you want to spend time with your news in order to have them completely bonded. By the way, if anyone finds one let me know:)

Try this link.....My boyfriend has a pop up deer blind like this. He got it at Dicks sporting goods. It works perfect for me. You can carry it in a flat round bookbag like zip up pouch....just pull it out and it pops open just like that!!! You can find them cheaper than the one on the link. That's just an example!! how are they escaping from it...i have one that pops up but you have to weight it down on the ends or it wont sit right. even with the books (like 6 phone book size ones) the centers really low so i cant sit straight. I'm gettin really frustrated because i love tent time but....i hate the task of setting up and unsetting up the tent...i really wish my bathroom was safe for him...but it's too big for him i think...not sure though..i might turn his cage room/computer room into his play room as well....all i worry about his him chewing on the carpet (which he's done...that time he ESCAPED) he's a chewer for sure...i'm tryin to break him of it but i think he's deciding that the blowing in the face doesnt bother him anymore..he's silly!

Try this link. I have one of these tents and they are awesome! They set up in 5 seconds. You just pull a string and they pop up and push down on the center and it collapses. No rods to put together and it comes with a carry bag. I believe the one in the link shows it as a cabana but they do have it with a floor and a door that zips. I think this is the site that I bought mine but I can't remember. Sun Shades

On then tent I Have now the sides and bottom velcro together in certain areas but as we know the babies are little escape artist and will find the area that they can squeeze through even with towels, sheets and anything else I can stuff into the holes. Does the tent in that link sides and bottom completely attach? That looks like a grat tent and will be worth the money if it is easy to pop up and put away every night Thanks guys for all the help.

I have the bug tent from Target and it is great. We just had to add more velcro where there were some gaps. Now it is fine. We are able to leave it up all of the time. It is not real difficult to put up and take down but I wouldn't want to do it everyday. ( I am rather lazy like that) The great suggestions in the above posts will be duly noted in case we need another some time.

I leave mine up all the time.. but I have a two man tent so I have my camping chair, laptop, phone and remotes all in there along with mainly the little guy's toys! I tried the pup tent and my back was killing me. We spend about 3 hours in the tent and I get tons done! All my correspondence and that has never been better! OH...and bills are now paid on time also! Hubby doesn't complain about the tent at all with all that I am accomplishing! I do take it down if we are having a party at the house. Otherwise just for a couple coming over I make up some sort of story about the tent. Good conversation piece.

The sun shade tents are sealed all the way around. I'm not sure were I bought mine but mine is big enough so that when you sit in the tent your not all hunched over! I think they come in 2 or 3 sizes. If I can find my receipt I'll post the link. They are a little pricey but very well made, durable material and go up and come down in an instant!

I just found the most awesome CHEAP CHEAP tent. I was feeling like Becci in the small dome tent. Back killing me! I got it at a tool sale, but here's the addres...cumminstools.com. The tent is 7'x7'x4tall. It was only $20., same as I paid at Wally-mart for a 6'x5'x3'. I can lay down in this one and no back pain! Very easy to set up and take down. Less than 5 min. I took pics, but don't know how to post. I can e-mail them to someone if they want to post pics. This tent sleeps 3, so you can see how big it is. Ok, Dori, I emailed you a picture.
Everybody else, I went on cumminstool.com.(don't know how to hilite it). Anyway, it's on page 5, item47. Says camping equipment. It's the 7x7x4. They have a pop up too, but its small. Hope this helps anyone who wants a big cheap tent. You can also find out when they'll be in your area, so you don't have to pay shipping.
Happy Tent Time!

Thank you Sarah SO much. I'm so computer illiterate. When I put it in, it just came up. Anyway, this tent only has 2 poles, my cheap one from walmart had 3 and was almost impossible to set up by myself!. This bigger one was a cinch. If you're alone, just back the pole against the wall to hold it and it's done, then do other one same way.
Thanks again!
