One of our gliders is the queen of mess. When she eats BML, she gets it EVERYWHERE, as far away as 4 feet from the cage, even the ceiling. I know there are dishes out there for gliders like that. Does anybody have any experiences with gliders that do that? Any preference for specific dishes? Any help is appreciated.

THIS is a link to BMXgirl's glider kitchen with instructions on how to make them. For many people, it has been the answer to how to prevent BML messy walls. Hope it helps!

Alot of people use a plastic container to put over thier food dishes where the little guys can not throw their food. There have been post on this subject. I would post a link but I am pretty computer iliterate (sp?) on GC. I know someone will come along and help or you can do a search. I will try to find it and post again.

I just posted in another place that I use hamster domes for my gliders, I use a lunch size plate and it fits great, they are vented and kinda see through, come in lots of colors and are nice because my gliders don't feel traped and they are domed and give them lots of room. three gliders seem to fit in them really nice.

there are the rodent igloos that work great also. Most pet stores sell them, you will want to get the bigger one for like rats but it helps with most of the mess. SOme of my little devils will wait to shake their hands until they get out of it though little stinkers!!
