 The Glider Initiative is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to educating glider owners and the general public in the proper care of sugar gliders.
Founded in 2007, TGI is headquartered in Michigan. The organization was built on the idea of addressing common issues in the glider community and dealing with them at the root. Through seminars, educational classes, and conferences, TGI aims to share knowledge about diet, health, housing, and all other aspects of sugar glider ownership.
Along with its educational efforts, TGI has projects in the works to help glider owners in need with some of the costs of owning sugar gliders. These include the vet Care Assistance program and a neutering program that is in the works.
Membership with TGI is a way to support the organization’s efforts, and also offers benefits with some vendors in the community.

I tried emailing TGI at membership@thegliderinitiative.org. The email was returned, the host did not exist?
Is there another email address or someone else I can contact?

The Glider Initiative will be at the Chicago Pet Expo on March 18-20, 2011. For show details, please visit their website: ChicagoPetExpo.com We are looking for volunteers to help out, especially on Friday. If anyone in the area is available, please feel free to stop by the booth for a few hours! It's a great opportunity to educate those that have, or are interested in getting gliders.  If you aren't able to volunteer, that's ok! Stop by and say "Hi" anyway! We'd love to meet you.
