When gliderproofing a room, what precautions should I be aware of? I'd like to gliderproof my room so he can run free while I study (though he'll probably just sleep on me). I don't know exactly what needs to be done to fully gliderproof a room. I'm assuming blocking the bottoms of doors with towels is a start. I guess no breakables or open electrical sockets are other things to worry about. But what else?

cover outlets, make sure there isn't anything sharp and pointy around for inquisitive gliders to get hurt on... remember they get into everything- so anything small enough to chew on that you don't want them chewing on- remove... use fleece not towels under the doors.. and make sure there are no holes in furniture they can use to get inside it!

To be honest- our gliders playroom was furnished with them in mind...

Also be sure there is not a paper shredder in your room that is turned on, very easy for a glider to have a foot slip into one.

If you want to know what a person is like, watch how he treats others.

You'll never know what the outcome is if you don't step up and try.

No worries about a shredder. I'm not that high in technology, lol!
Yeah, I'd venture to say my room isn't a good place... TOO much non-glider stuff.
the bathroom on the other hand...... hmmm.

a lot of people use bathrooms.. our gliders have their own space now... so that is different, but until then it was easiest to clean out the bathroom.
