Hey, I was just wondering.. What kind of things do you guys put at the bottom of your cages for your suggies to play with? My new cage seems so bare now with barely anything on the bottom of the cage. Rissa likes to just hang out at the bottom of the cage sometimes ,so i was just wondering what i could put at the bottom for her to play with <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/multi.gif" alt="" />

Mine have little balls with bells inside them and monkeys, barrel of monkeys.

Mine LOVE the feather balls that can be purchased at Sugaraes Attic They also love balls, the ducky and the pig toys and anything with bells that can be placed on the floor!

Aren't they amazingly playful? Mine roll on the floor like kittens. Mine like things they can crawl through or in - I bought some of those hamster tubes (mine are still young/small) or you could use a piece of PVC pipe. I took a tube from Christmas wrapping and cut holes in it for them to crawl through and in and out. You can replace rather than wash it. Moira

Mine won't play with any of the toys (fleece balls, fleece rings, hanging bird toys, a babies spinny toy) that I have in the cage and they NEVER go to the bottom. It's about 5' tall. Is that too tall or something??? and am I putting the wrong toys in there???
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming WOOOO HOOOO, WHAT A RIDE!!!

some gliders seem to never go down and others do.. I rarely see Adoni down near the bottom of their cage, but Akane will race all over top to bottom.. and the trio all go down there sometimes especially when the toy they want has fallen down low..

Another idea that mine just love is straws. I bought some of the brightly colored bendy straws and place them in a container sitting upright on the bottom of the cage. Every morning, they are all over the place. Cooper even likes to attack his if I hold it in front of him. He'll investigate it first and then he'll sit up and take it from me. So cute (and so cheap!).
