I just wanted to let whoever cares know that at Walmart, in the Easter section there is a plastic eggful of bunnies, that is just like the barrel of monkeys except they are bunnies(with really long ears)and are only $2.00 versus the $4.95 the monkeys are(at least at my walmart) I got 4 eggs...the babies love them just like the monkeys!

I've read about the B O M's quite a few times now on GC and am always wondering exactly how the gliders play with them? I thought I'd finally break down and ask.

My babies pass the monkies between cages, they also try to get them, unhung from the top. THey carry them around try to feed them. And they just love them. I am going to wally world to get me some bunnies with my 10% discount I will be getting lots. I cant wait my babies are onna pass bunnies. If you look between the cages here you will see the monkies. Joon and Stitch were passing them. THis is Stiches way of welcoming new comers to the family.lol

That's amazing to me Sissy. I just don't see any of my 4 doing that with them. I do picture myself just picking them up off the cage floor though. I guess the bunnies do sound cute though. I might stop in to get an egg or two.

I just got Tinky some Monkeys about 2 weeks ago. I haven't actually seen her play with them, but I see evidence ! I will hang them around the cage, or sometimes stick a treat on one end of one and hang it somewhere. Usually in the morning, the treat is gone & if I hung a chain, they're scattered about. Also, I've noticed the tiniest little bite marks on a few of them Tinky doesn't play with much of anything in front of me just yet, I think it's just because were still getting used to each other

I just got the bunnies! They are very cute (& MUCH better colors than the boring red monkey's) and there's like 2x as many as what comes with the barrell of Monkeys...
LOL, Brooke, I forgot the colors!Im glad you mentioned that... I'm going to get some more... I got some plastic easter eggs to and put in the cages, I tried to get a pic of Cambrin wrestling with one... He was on his side laying on the floor of the cage wrapped around the egg.. But my husband startled him before I could get it... And you're welcome I hope everyones babies enjoys their bunnies!!

Got mine today. Can't wait until tonight to see if they use them. I bought an extra one just in case there would possibly be a person out there that doesn't have a Wal-Mart by them. Let me know.

Okay, I need your help. I made a special trip just to go to WalMart, to look for these eggs full of bunnies, and didn't find them. Could someone post a picture so I can see exactly what I'm looking for, or so I can print it out to ask the folks at the store? They had lots of eggs, of course, but they were empty or chocolate. And they had lots of bunnies, but they weren't in eggs.

I went last night and after about 30 minutes of searching the store, I found them. They were in the Easter section where the Easter toys are and pretty hidden. I don't have a picture to put up but it is a large egg, clear on one side and solid colored on the other (pink, aqua, yellow, etc.) with a white band on it that has the price 2.00. They are adorable and the bunnies are different colors too. Hope this helps some.

*sigh* It does help a bit, with the details of the color scheme. I looked up and down the Easter aisle at least three times, on each side, looking at every item on every shelf. When you say "large" egg, how big? 5"? About how big are the bunnies in the egg? And about how many bunnies? And are they flat, like a guitar pick, or slightly shaped, like the monkeys in the barrel? Anyone else able to post a picture?
Forever owned in my heart by my "Eight is Enough" colony:
Oh, heavens! You know, I specifically looked, and only saw the pic of the monkey being passed between cages. Thanks for pointing out the obvious to me, razarra! Thanks for posting the pic, too, Sissy! Back to Walmart I go tomorrow!! Not that my spoiled little babies need anything more, and not that they would be upset if they didn't get these goodies (what they don't know, you know)... But it sure seems like something they'd enjoy tossing on their cage floor!
