are we talking about bedding?
we use Critter Country--the only time they will touch it is if something falls inside the bottom that they want such as a mealie--it works pretty well too--absorbs well, has no smell, and doesnt get all over the place--and if you buy the larger bag it is a much better deal--

Hi Lynsie. I have the slide out tray on mine so they can't reach down in. I just use newspaper.
You could go to Lowe's and look for a piece of cage like material and make your own cage bottom, but figure out a way to have it raised above the actual surface of your cage.
Did that make sense? I know what I want to say but I'm having trouble putting it into the right words.
Also, I have been wanting to tell you that I love your picture. I wish everyone would put a pic of themselves with their glider so we could no who we're talking to. I have a pic of me with Zoey but I can't put it up. I've tried and tried. It's not a GC problem, it's my Kodak problem. Actually, it's probably just my stupidity.

I use puppy pads, they sometimes pull up one end but don't shred them or make to much of a mess. I also like the fact they help neutralize some of the odor.

Lynsie, I have those same cages. I took and raised the floor of the cage up to the level of the small doors along the front. You can still use the doors if you want but it puts enough space between the floor and the drop pan that the gliders don't try to reach anything.

I would go witht he fleece- they can't reach to the floor under their cages, but I put fleece down there and then they do run under there during playtime sometimes...

I have tried just about everything - puppy pad type product, corn cobb (what a mess!) cotteny stuff newspaper you name it and I have to say I like the fleece the best - just find some sticky back velcro loop that will hang on to fleece to keep it in the tray and the little hands can't pull it up!
