I was reading about different wheels! There is the silent wheel, I have that for my chinchilla and it is well silent. I was wondering about a wodent wheel.
Can anyone tell me about that? compare the two?

I have also read something about a nail clipper that can go into a wodent wheel which would be awesome! What can you tell me about those?

What size should I get for two gliders? should i just get one wheel or do I need 2?

Pretty much everyone on here will tell you that the Stealth Wheel is the absolute best thing ever! They are totally silent, and gliders love them. I had a silent spinner for a couple of weeks, and I don't think they ever touched them. There is also a nail trimmer for the Stealth.

I have issues with the wodent wheels. I don't feel any wheel with the center bar on them are safe. It has happened before where a glider got their tail tangled around this bar and suffered great damage.

The Stealths are absolutely quiet, don't have that dangerous center bar, have a mesh track so pee and poop fall through (instead if the nasty mess you get with the wodent wheel's solid track) and yes, there are trim trax that goes on the outside of the track (allowing just their nails to contact it) to help keep them trimmed.

Judge not until you have walked in their shoes and lived their lives. What you see online is only part of the story.

Definitely Stealth!

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming
WOOOO HOOOO, WHAT A RIDE!!!

I love my Rowdy wheels. They are 3 years old and still perfect. I wish he were still making them.

I had Wodents in every cage until last week. I had fallen asleep on the couch and when I woke up, I went to check on the critters before retiring to bed. Thank God that I did that! I found my albino male trying to climb out of the WW, but struggling. Upon closer inspection, I found that his tail was wrapped around the cross bar. It was so tightly wrapped, that I had to take the wheel apart while it was still in the cage, and slide his tail off the bar. I could not get his tail unwrapped from the bar. The poor little guy never even crabbed. I shutter to think what I would have found in the morning if I had not checked on him that night. About an inch of his tail was broken and had to be amputated.

In 5 years of owning gliders, I have never seen anything like this. Granted, it may have been a freak accident. But I will not take any chances when it comes to my gliders. Needless to say, all my Wodent wheels went into the trash and I have ordered Stealth replacements. I have never heard anything bad about the Stealths. I can't wait for them to get here to try, umm, I mean, let the gliders try them out, lol.

That`s it! That`s all I needed to hear....my wodent wheel is coming out....grrr! I have 3 stealth wheels ans I only left the WW in there because they still went back to it. I`m not taking any chances with it.

I tried the Silent spinner and I think it`s too slippery for them with their nails. Whatever you choose, go with the larger one, I think it`s 12".
