The community has long desired to have a representative group of the online glider community working together for the benefit of sugar gliders everywhere. It has finally happened, and is a success! It is called the “Round Table”. The name was chosen for the same reasons King Arthur did, so no person is at the head of the table and everyone is equal. This project was to include forum owners/admins and glider organizations of the community so we can all discuss how each place can work together and bring the community closer. We hope that others will see that we can all work together so you may also choose to work together for the only reason we are here, the gliders!!

This group is proudly represented by GliderCentral, The Glider Initiative, The mill breeder Project, Laurie’s Glider Gazette, Sugar Glider Neighborhood, All4Gliders, USGN, SESG, and SPIN. Representatives of each of these groups have joined forces and are working together to make this a reality!

We are proud to announce our first project – a centralized go-to sugar glider resource center for everyone - in the glider community and out! For quite some time there has been a need for a stand alone site with quality information on the internet; a centralized go-to place for anyone looking for veterinarian, Breeders, vendors, Educational Groups, Forums, Rescues etc. So many times we see people trying to find this information. Finally, there is a one-stop site to find all of this information! This is a constant work in progress as information will be added and updated as it is obtained.

Looks great and informative- though I noticed with the little bit of looking around- there needs to be some updating with the links. Just in the TX breeder section, there are several people listed as breeders that are no longer breeding gliders.

I just looked briefly at the BREEDERS section for Florida and found that Sugar Shock is listed as a breeder. This child has been a problem on several boards and has been banned from participation on those boards.

Several other breeder links are to inactive web pages.

My link doesn't always work either. I know it works great when viewed in Firefox, but some others have had a problem. Is there anything that can be done on your end, Eddie?

Sorry, it would be to www.migliders.com in the Michigan breeders section. I did not check any others. Some people have contacted me about having a problem getting it to open. It does work in Firefox though. I have asked godaddy about this and they say they cannot replicate the problem, so they can't "fix" it. Do you have any idea why it won't open sometimes?

Yes, but it is better to have them listed and have people leave comments as such so the information is out there. It no longer links to their site, it links to a non supported page.

Yeah I was looking and Nancy's right the Missouri breeder list needs updated too .Several of the links do not work at all.It does look great.

There will be many changes as the time passes. Phone calls will be made to vets to get all the current up to date info on everything they do like found here

Much more info will be added as we move forward. By working together, we will now be able to compile the most up to date vet database! Similar things will be happening with vendors and more down the line. Since for the most part, the vendor section was out dated, it was removed for now and will return down the line.

Guys, Please look before reporting links. Not everyone owns a website. Just cause the link says no info, look at the description. There is a phone number or other contact info, and when we go to verify the breeders, we will call them to make sure they are around, if not they will be removed.

Having the "bad" breeders on there allows us to get the info out to others that they ARE bad and the reason.

If some one came across SugarShock and wanted to "check her out" before buying from her and found sugargliderhelp.com they would be able to see that she is thought of as a "bad" breeder to avoid. Much like the link to (PPP) Perfect Pocket Pets on GC's database. If she wasn't listed there, people might think that sugargliderhelp.com just doesn't know about her and be more inclined to believe her lies.

I just wanted to not that there are a few vets missing in Canada Ontario. And from my understand Kindred Spirit Exotics no longer breeds?

Is there some way I can be involved in this? Or do I have to be a breeder,or such?

We have two breeders on the list that is in our buyer bewares, or does it matter since it says openly on top that no breeder, vendor, etc is endorsed by Glider Central? Just wondering

Unfortunately, in the case of SugarShock - there are no comments other than her own description as a small breeder. Yes I see the link to her page has been deleted, but her email and phone number are still there.

A newby to the glider community would have no clue she is a problem child and may still contact her. The kid is still brokering gliders and trolling boards to get them!

Yes having "bad" breeders included can alert folks to their existence, but please at least post a warning on those breeders that the community is already aware of as having poor breeding and glider care practices.
