I live in Indiana and taking my cage outside to clean would not be a good idea. It is way too big for the tub. I don't think that I could even get it through the door. I read that a lot of people us steam cleaners. I do not have the money to buy a steam cleaner right now. I have been using hot soapy water and vineger with a wash cloth. I also have a very good anti-bacterial spray, but it is very strong. I bought it from suncoast. I have not tried it yet because I am worried that if I don't wash it off good enough it might hurt my babies. I just want to know if washing it with a wash cloth is good enough?

i also use the spay from suncoast and the directions say to just spray and let dry.. if you read their site they use the spray to clean but they rinse it off which is what i do.then the smell is not strong and it wont harm the gliders.. so i would imagine if you wipe down the cage then spray the suncoast spray and wipe again it should be fine ...

I don't know about the spray, because I've never tried it... but I just wanted to say, that you probably don't need it. The soapy water and vinegar should be plenty <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumb.gif" alt="" />. Vinegar is great for cleaning!
Oh and I wanted to add, that a lot of people just use baby wipes or those Clorox wipes. I've been planning to try the Clorox wipes myself...
