ok...don't laugh at me but are there any good instructions out there for making toys and pouchers that are totally friendly? I'm not a sewer at all...in fact, I'm not the most domestic at all lol, but we're getting our first gliders soon and even though I'm buying all my toys and such to begin with, I'd like to play around w/ trying to make some fun stuff but I want to make sure it's totally glider safe. Appreciate any pointers or suggestions

I have seen a sawless pattern around GC. But I have looked and looked I can't find it. I am going to check my favorites I think I saved it there too. I will post the site if I can find it. Here is a site that I have in my favorites that has site link to different pattern for pouches and stuff. I hope this helps. the cocanut one is fun. Its not as hard as it sounds. http://www.katiedid.net/sugargliderspage.html#maketoys

Well, I can sew just about anything. My problem is where do you buy the swivel clips, lanyard (sp) clips etc. to hang the toys, hammocks, tepees. I am using the big metal clips and plastic hair clips. Works okay but not the best. Oh, and while I'm asking where to get things, where to you find the cage making supplies? I have checked with Lowes and a local hardware store - nothing. And while I'm asking, where do you find the plactic chains etc. for toy making? Information will be greatly appreciated!

[:"green"]You can buy swivel hooks & lanyard clips at most craft/fabric stores. They carry the lanyard hooks at WalMart, too. For the swivel hooks, check by the jewelry/bead-making supplies of craft stores. (The type I use are made by Darice and they are called "Big Clasps". I buy them at Pat Catan's.) For cage-making supplies, try www.klubertanz.com They specialize in small animal equipment & supplies. For buying the plastic chains, try www.rockportroost.comHTH

Suz thanks for the link! Those are great! They're exactly like the large fleece blankets I make for friends. I've already got the wheel blade and material rulers too so that's awsome! (I should really learn to sew haha)
