You could take some fruit (grapes, apples etc) that they can snack on if you want. For 4 hours, you should do just fine. Make sure the pouch is a secure pouch (so they can't get loose on you).

Treats come in very handy on long trips. That's what I give mine for the drive. Then when I get to my hotel, I go get them some fresh fruit. But treats are good for the drive...

I use to travel from Houston to Dallas alot and would always take (at the time) my 2 gliders with me. If I ever traveled during the day they practically slept the whole time. I would always wrap a loose sheet over the cage so they wouldn't come out and freak out about the new environment they were in. Always have water and I would put a piece of fruit in the cage.

You might want to take a sheet to keep out as much light as possible...granted, they'll probably sleep most of the way (if not all of it) but I still do what I can to LOOSELY put some kind of blockage over their cage.

Wear a zippered bonding pouch, a pretty good sized one. Are they already cage-mates or do you have to do introductions. Might need two pouches?? A grape for liquids would be all I would take. Either that or a piece of melon. They usually sleep all day anyway.
