New beginnings

I have been unemployed for a while now (nothing bad happened at my last job, they just couldn't afford me anymore) and have been struggling to find another graphic designer job. Memphis has never been a good area for graphic design and with this economy it is much worse!
So, I decided to see if I wanted to do anything else. I finally found something and I am really excited about it. I am going back to school to become a chef! I have only been in school for a week and already I have helped prepare food that will appear on TV!!! I still love doing graphic design, but I think this might be even more exciting and fitting to my personality. I just wanted to share this news and I feel blessed to be able to go back to school to explore this new field!

lol, thanks! It's going to be a LOT of work, but I am sooo excited about it! Everyday is something fun and new!

It isn't bad at all to go back! I was a little scared too, but after I did it everything became natural again. If there is something you want to go back to school for I would do it if possible, sheila82. I bet you will do wonderful!!!

Go Ashley! I have always wanted to do graphic design, but I went to school for crimainal justice, and well...I work for a CPA. Don't ask me how I wound up here?! But it pays the bills! And probably better pay than a police officer! LOL
