I don't have a list - but I recently discovered that Nail Clippers are not on my new owner list, and they need to be!

I'll wing my list, and people can add to it:
Water bottle
Cage Pouch
bonding Pouch
toys
food supplies and dishes
Clorox wipes
Nail Clippers
C-Clips
zip ties

Thank you, and noticed that you had a python, I have a red tailed boa, and was wondering if your snake bit you after having the gliders with you all day?

Stephanie - no, she doesn't. But I pretty much wash my hands ALL the time. I don't really handle another animal after handling one until I wash my hands.

I don't know how I left off a Wheel! I spent all day today cleaning wheels - so I don't know how I forgot!

I'm sorry about the mix up, I meant you Alden, but after I had made my post (I use my phone so it take longer to type) there were other ones ahead of mine, again I'm sorry

Thanks for all the great info everbody.

Oh - I thought you meant me, Stephanie - so that was my answer - it was about my ball python. She is a female ... Izzie. That is what my answer about washing my hands was.

Yes - there are many great ideas up here!

Gliders like soft fleece blankets. I would add a couple in each sleeping pouch.
Identify a knowledgeable vet close to your area before you need him. Make sure that you have established an emergency vet fund
Add a branch or two to your cage. Make sure the branches are safe for gliders.
Your new glider's cage should be set up before you bring him home. Don't add too many toys at this stage as this will overwhelm your glider. Slowly add more toys as the bonding progresses.
Get an emergency kit:
Pedialyte (plain is best)for dehydration.
E-collar and instructions
Bottled Water
Nail clippers, scissors
Vitamin E Capsules
Syringes NO needles
Neosporin (antibiotic ointment for wounds)
Fleece blankets
Metacam (long shelf life) get dosage from a vet
Hand Sanitizer
Corn Starch (for treating nail bleeds
Travel Pouch
Sterile 0.9 Saline Solution (for cleaning wounds)
Travel Cage
K-Y Jelly ? Plain
Microvawe heat pad
Gauze Wrap
Flexible notebook cover for E-collar
Sterile cotton balls and gauze pads
Q-tips
vet tape, cling wrap or coflex
5 French catheter/feeding tips
Mineral Oil

I would also suggest 2 water bottles. Sometimes if you get one that drips it can lose water very quickly and that way you always have a back up and no one gets dehydrated, especially in the summer!

Regarding the water and food dishes:

Make sure the food bowl can't tip over and place the food dishes high enough so that feces can't drop into the food dishes. You may want to use a food dish that is split into portions to provide for the solids and the liquid substances.

Using a water bottle helps keep glider waste out of their water supply. It also prevents spillage because it can't tip over.
Choose a water bottle, without a spring behind the ball. The spring makes it difficult for the gliders to move the ball.
Two water bottles are better than one. If one of them breaks, your glider still has a water source.
If you choose to put a dish in the cage for water, remember to put it up high to help keep feces and waste out of it.
