Ugh - I know youtube is a hive for stupidness, but I came across this one clip on another glider forum of some guy literally throwing his sugar glider on a dog's face. X__x;; He claimed they were "playing." It made me wanna strangle the owner. I don't know if I felt worse for the terrified glider who kept trying to get away, or this little pug who was tossing its head because it had sharp toes in its eyes. Since when is throwing your pet "playtime?" My God... that's disgusting.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. That guy is being so rough with his suggie; it's an animal, not a toy or something cool to share with your buddies on youtube. I was horrified by the fact that the dog looks like it's stepping on the glider as the thing tries to get away and on the verge of snapping to get the sugar glider off its face. Those animals are giving every sign possible that they don't like what's going on - I feel so bad for those poor guys.

I saw this over on glider gossip. There was a cat video too. Someone said in the subject line "I want my glider to play with my cat" or something like that. I was horrified too. Why would someone do that?

I hope when people see something like this they are posting comments. If innundated with negative comments from glider people he might think twice. You can post comments about a video. Let's flood it!

Some people just don't understand what they are doing is frightening to their animal. They see it as the animal is "having fun".
Having 7 cats this is the way I feel about people who play with their cats with laser pointers....it's cruel...IMO.

I just saw the you~tube video an that poor suggie, just trying to seek safety and the pug just confused as all heck. I hope that suggie pit bull bit's his owner one day.... I know that is mean to say but the owner needs taught a lesson.......

GLOVES!? No you shouldnt always use for "protection!" hmmm. i feel sorry for the glider, these people, and the pug.

When looking that video up, another came up... about a glider and italian greyhound playing. The glider is running free in the room, and the dog (about half way through) starts chasing it! I've had IG's and they are fast and destructive... killed 3 rabbits we've had here. Can you imagine what they could do to the glider?
