After reading the list of hazardous toys I am nervous about buying my babies bird toys. It can't have bells or plastic?? Does any one know what kind of bird toys work great?

bells are ok, but they need to be the cow bell style… I know what you mean there is a lot to think about and consider… I have started to steer away from bird toys, going with more fleece type things, including the fleece vines…

I'm actually doinf the exact oposite of Xglider... After a couple incedents involving fleece/fabric, I've been stearing more towards plastic toys. I've used plastic toys for years and I've never had any problems. I try to avoid metal items and bells though, due to rusting and the noise they make.

Well I guess that is about a clear as mud…lol… sorry there is a lot to consider and each person has to just take in all the info they can and then make a decision from there.. you may also want to look through the Sticky at the top of this forum Hazardous toys or toy parts list. to help you weed through all the info…

Lol, maybe my post should have started out with "For the sake of being dificult..."
Both plastic and fleece have their perks and their downfalls. Just try to look for things that you think might be dangerous or harmful. Use yoru best judgement and you can't go wrong. If you have any doubt over a toy, don't use it.
