I can't imagine why they wouldn't be safe!

We have the little plastic eggs in our cages all the time with no problems. They have fun opening them up looking for treats. You can hide a cheerio or dried fruit or a mealworm in them. Just make sure to remove it, if they don't eat it after a day. Some of mine love to drag the eggs into their sleeping pouches and sleep with them. I never know what I am going to get a hold of when I reach into a sleeping pouch! LOL Catherine

Watching them wrestle with the eggs is so much fun. Mr. Magoo loves his eggs. I am going to try hiding things in there for him. Oh he has his all the time!

sugababe, I believe everyone is talking about the plastic Easter eggs full of bunnies, like to Barrel of Monkeys. Definitely no chocolate (eggs or otherwise) for our gliders!

I just buy the 15/1$ plastic eggs- the trio loves opening themand finding toys and treats inside.. the pair move them around but don't do much else and if it hits the ground it stays there and gets used as a bathroom.. so I've stopped giving them to them..
