My boy was neutered shortly before I got him a female companion, so I'm kind of lightly clinging to the hope that he may have just gotten her pregnant before he started shooting blanks. She's been pretty fat since I got her, so I can't tell if she's just a big girl, or if I should keep my hopes up. She's a very vicious biter so I can't really feel her belly for more than a split second, but I've only felt fuzzy fur thus far. She aggressively lunges at any mealworm I hold for her and tears it from my hands (I saw some post about a preg female craving more protein?), she cleans a lot (though I'm not sure what a female cleaning her pouch looks like), but again she's always been so fat.. Opinions? Can anyone let me down easy or maybe give me a little more hope?

If you male was neutered before you got your female, there is almost no chance that she is prego by him. Now, if she was with another male prior to coming to you, she might be carrying his joey...

If you don't think it's really possible for her to have gotten pregnant . . . my chubby girl's belly looks just like that and she's only been around neutered males. She has the same kind of "bunches" of skin/fat.

I dunno. There are slight chances she is. I would just twiddle my thumbs for a bit longer and if they get bigger then there you go. I've seen odder things happen. We had a spayed famle cat that had been spayed for 7 years and had a kitten in the closet and I Know she was fixed lol!

[:"green"]From the pictures, I don't think she's pregnant, just chubby. However, within a couple of weeks you should be able to tell for sure. It is doubtful since the male was neutered before he was introduced to the female.
CaptivatedK, I once had a cat who was spayed (I saw the ovaries afterwards) and continued to have kittens. Apparently, according to a different vet than the one that spayed her, there is a possibility that the ovaries were not completely removed to begin with, thus she was still able to produce.
Ah thank you much everyone for your opinions! I've come to accept I just have a fat little girl I love my fiesty biter just the same though!
