Hi,
Is there any Pet shops that sell Sugar Gliders in near to Gloucester. I have rang round quite a few . Some i got an answer like ' sugar gliders are they lizards ?' and others say 'your not the first one to ask that question ' but all in vain. How much should the cost be for 2 sugar gliders ?please feel free to email me with any helpful information . Im based in Gloucester in the UK.

Yep...stay away from the pet stores and flea markets, expos, trade shows, etc. Find a reputable breeder and work with them. You should be able to go and see their gliders and see how they are cared for. Their gliders should be easy to handle and friendly. The ones from those other places may be so traumatized that you will have problems getting them to bond with you, not to mention the medical problems. Try the classified section on here too. How about adopting a couple of rescues?

To locate a breeder you can go to Sugar Gldier Help. It has a listing of breeders by state. I also agree that you should look for a private breeder rather than going through a pet store.

Also, read through this site, you'll gain a lot of knowledge here that you need before getting your gliders!
