Since college has started back up, I haven't been on here very much. But since I have found Echo's pouch sticking out off and on for a few days now, I needed to find out some information. I found a few topics about it being fine, as long as it isn't red, doesn't smell, or as long as there isn't any discharge. She doesn't have any of those symptoms, but I helped put her pouch back in tonight. But I became curious.. One topic I couldn't find is what the inside of a pouch is supposed to look like.

Does anyone have pictures of the inside of a pouch?

I'm still looking for you. Here's a link to a photo of a pouch sticking out. Pouch

Yeah, that's about the only type of pouch pictures that I can find as well, though not any that actually show the inside. Though reading through the topic did help and I learned what I was mainly looking for. About the "tiny white bumps" in the pouch. So it's good to know that Echo hasn't been "infected by some egg laying bug." Though I must admit, it did look rather odd and I wasn't expecting it. So thank you for posting that!

You're Welcome. I'm glad at least that one did help some. I do remember seeing a picture posted at one time, but I'm not sure if it was archived. I'm still looking though.... smirk

Last night before posting this topic I was able to take some pictures before helping Echo put her exposed pouch back in. She is such a sweet little girl and just laid back so calmly for me. So I thought I would post the pictures so everyone could see them and know that even though it looks very odd, that the white dots are normal. And I hope that these pictures will help other people when they are trying to learn about what I needed to know.

After

And as an update, she didn't have her pouch hanging out at all this morning. So I think she was just going through a super grooming mode.
