the other night i was watching skid in the cage and she was just standing there and her tail was slinking back and forth identically to how a snake moves. i tried to take a video but it was too dark. it was very strange/interesting and in all these years of having gliders, neither james nor i had ever seen a glider do this. the most was seeing them carry things in their tails, but this was very cool. anyone know what it means or have had/seen this before?

Oh yeah! Absolutely! It's the tail dance! My Bandit does it all the time! Gotta love it! Usually, he'll do it when he's either nervous or sees something brand new. It's like he's sneaking up on it. lol

Yup! That's the snakey tail dance. SO funny to watch! Some of mine will just snake the very end of their tail, but others will snake it all the way from their bottoms with very pronounced movement.
