Hi, I took in a sug that does not seem to have teeth. How many should they have and where have they gone?

According to this: http://outbackgliders.com/page9.html
They have 40 teeth. I haven't counted them, but i know there's a good 20 or 30 something. LOL As for where your sug's teeth have gone, I couldn't tell you.

That's really sad to hear, he/she must have been in very poor conditions to be toothless. The glider should get a vet check, and maybe they can see if there are any present teeth.

I agree with Terry, a vet check of your glider and full examination of the mouth is in order.
