I'm new to gliders, but everything that I've seen seems to say that neutered males do not develop scent glands when they've been neutered young. We were told that our little boy is 12 oop and was neutered before we got him. In the last 3 days he has developed a yellow oily spot on his chest which I assume is his scent gland. He's also been happily rubbing his chest on our little girl who is less than thrilled with the process.
So my question is this: is it normal for a male to develop a chest scent gland after being neutered?

I knew about the one on their head. I just assumed that neutering affected both. Thanks for your help!
