I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts as to which type/brand of gliderade/glider nectar is best? Also, I have seen a product called gliderade and one called glider-ade and one called glideraide. All three had different packaging. Is there any difference in nutrition? Which is best? The girl I got my gals from used Exotic Nutrition's Gliderade, and they loved it. When that ran out, I bought Sugar Glider Nectar from Suncoast and they won't touch it. I noticed the powder to mix ratio is much different for the two nectars(1:5 for gliderade and 1:16 for sugar glider nectar) - perhaps they like the nectar thicker because it's sweeter when less dilute. Anyway, in addition to the ones above, here are some of the other nectar products I've seen. Any comments would be appreciated: Nutra-Glider from Exotic Nutrition Gliderade from ToandFro Gliders - I think this may be the same as above but repackaged GliderAide from Sandman's shop - different from Gliderade Avico Gliderade - not sure if this is the same or different from other stuff

I've got the one from SunCoast and my guys love it... they drink almost all of it when I can prevent them from flipping the bowl over (it clogs my water bottles so I put it in a bowl) as to nutrition, I don't know... I always give it as a treat a/b once a week or less so it doesn't really affect their diet

I'm not sure either. I have the one from Suncoast & Monster & Zoe won't touch it either. To be fair, I've only tried once. A few days ago, Zoe was constipated, so I mixed up a batch & gave some to her & some to Monster, neither one wanted it. It was very gritty & wouldn't really dissolve, a bunch of cornstarch looking stuff settled to the bottom even after I stirred it forever!

I have Gliderade by Avico and my gliders have always loved it! However, I dilute it 1:8 water/gliderade instead of 1:5 as instructed. I am not sure which gliderade you have but this is what I have.

A word of caution with nectars and Gliderade, we are getting in quite a few recues that are missing teath or have gum disease due to poor diets and foods high in sugar. Juices and nectars are very high in sugar. We don't give them as a rule, if we give any netcars its about once a month as a treat only, even then about 1/8th of a teaspoon or less. Its better to feed a proven diet and give treats sparingly. Angie
