Is it true that ...

3/4 tsp NOW brand Calcium Carbonate 1200 mg / tsp

is equal to

2 tsp NOW brand Calcium Citrate 700 mg / 1.5 tsp ?

I have a recipe that calls for Calcium Carbonate, but I already have Calcium Citrate on hand. Are these 2 products comparable?

yes If your recipe calls for 900 mg CALCIUM you can use either 3/4 tsp NOW brand Calcium Carbonate 1200 mg / tsp OR
2 tsp NOW brand Calcium Citrate 700 mg / 1.5 tsp

Those amounts are for the Blended diet. If you are making another recipe you may need to calculate the correct amount to use of the Calcium Citrate based on the mg amount called for in the recipe.
