Well, my babies love tent time. They love it so much, that I couldn't get them in the pouch to go back to their cage. I finally had to put them in real quick and close it really fast. They hated that! Well, now they won't sleep in their pouch. They sleep in their pvc pipe. Their cage is way too big to put in the tent for them to back into, and I don't want to force them anywhere. But if they aren't in their pouch, I can't get them to the tent. And if I do get them to the tent, I can't get them out. HELP!!! They really had fun, and even my shy little girl will come and check out my hand now instead of running away, but we only got to do it once! I really really need some help here.
Here are my babies by the way and the pvc thing they are now sleeping in!

Try to find something to make a small (can be about anything about 6x6x6 inches)"cage" that will fit into the larger cage. Then when you are done with tent time, instead of putting them in their pouch, put them in this little cage for transport back to the big cage. This could even be accomplished with a small blanket (not the same as their pouch) where you make a temporary pouch out of the blanket just long enough to get them back to the cage.

The PVC is attached with cable ties, so it can be removed but it is kind of difficult. I'm just sad that they are afraid of their pouch now
Oh, and Spandex marked my shirt, should I use it when I play with them, or is it okay to use a clean one?

US Mom I usually use my marked shirts for a couple days. Either way you're gonna have a marked shirt. Helps with laundry.

i had the same problem when i tried introducing Sugar in with my boys. Pumba was so scared of the sleep pouches because of Sugar being in their ,he wouldn't even get into the bonding pouch either. Once i got Sugar out of their he was fine. He is back to his normal self again.Maybe trying to transport them in something else will help.

Hi US mom! I'm in Austin, too. Welcome to GC!
I agree that getting something different to transport from tent to cage should help. Of course good luck getting them in it after the first time. Maybe if you got one of those clear plastic, I think they call them pet transporters, that you can get at PetsMart/Petco and lure them into it with mealies or something, that might work.
Also, maybe if you keep it in the tent the whole time and keep feeding them mealies or other treats in it as part of playtime (letting them go in and out as they wish) they won't just associate it with time to go back to the cage.
