If you have multiple gliders caged together..is it okay to only take one of them for the day in the bonding pouch? Or should all of them go if one of them does? I have the option to take my gliders to work with me but one of them is VERY crabby when in a closed bonding pouch (she's find with it open..I think she's claustrophobic!) and she just doesn't like it at all. She digs and bites me through the pouch trying to get out. I've tried everything to get her to like it and she just doesn't. So, I don't take any of them with me because I didn't know if it was okay to separate them for the day or not. I thought about rotating who I took with me, just leaving the one that isn't happy in a bonding pouch out of the rotation.

I don't know what the "official" opinion is. But in my opinion, it is perfectly fine. She doesn't like going in the bonding pouch - so ... don't take her! That doesn't mean the other(s) should be deprived of time with you!

I do this all the time. Molly HATES to be in a bonding pouch. I take two and leave the rest. I think it's a good thing for them because it gives them a break from each other for a few hours. smile just like us, they need breaks too. I never leave anyone alone. I always leave someone in with her. wink

I don't see why not. Tempo and I have a remarkable bond, with Elodie close in the second place so to speak. So sometimes I like to take just one and 'cuddle' because if their with their respective 'pairs' or 'buddies' they're not as cuddly and loving. xD

We rotate on a daily basis grin Some days Casper takes Boesman with to work, and the others take turns, sometimes all 3 are in with me and the other two in the cage. It all depends on them, they decide each morning who goes with mom and who goes with dad and even who stays in pouch. "freedom of choice" roflmao roflmao

agreed! they get a choice. Gizmo doesnt like to travel and Arwen loves it. Since sometimes I see them sleeping in separate pouches anyway I dont worry about leaving Gizmo alone for the day. Arwen moves alot when sleeping in the cage and I think it disturbs Gizmo, she's probably happy when I take her out!

My Bug gets alone time in my bra every single day. Later in the day, I add Bandit & Teeka and shortly after, Bug makes her way out and hangs on my bra because she doesn't like to be squished. LOL I never leave one alone though...more so for my peace of mind because I feel bad leaving one in a pouch all by themselves.
