Ok, My girls and I were having tent time and Oreo was on my shoudler and back the most time. So that was fine.(I also had a fleece jacket on) When she was on my back she kept biting my back. It didnt hurt but it was annouying. I did the PSST and that worked for like maybe 5 mins. I was wandering how you can stop them from biting your back. I wasnt sure if she was trying to tell me something, like if she was hungry. It was interffering (sorry if I spelt that wrong) on when they normally eat. I was thinking if bring in their food in while we have tent time, if that is a good idea.

It could also be that she was thirsty. Fuzzy has been nippy since Luna's passing, but when he is thirsty he nips. So, he gets a grape if I don't have a water bottle handy. LoL.

Taking a small crock dish of apple juice in with you may help. LoL. Have you tried removing her from the spot of biting? Even if you have to pull your shirt up a bit to raise her to your reaching zone. Perhaps it's your jacket. Does she do this only when you wear this one or is it all of the time?

The only other thing I could think of is she may be grooming or marking you.

One of my favorite tent time get ups if you will, is my fleece turtle neck from Old Navy and my fleece like pants from walmart. Add a pair of Green Bay Packers socks from Lambo Fields and we are good to go. The socks are twice as thick as the norm. LOL!

I was thinking she was trying to groom me because in our very first tent time that is all she did to my neck. That was the first time I even wore the jacket since I was kinda cold. I had grapes and stuff in with me but she didnt want it. So yeah.

I dont think I can get them since they havent really been handled. They let me pet them and everything else but I never really handled them. I want to though. I remeber Oreo let me hold her in a peice of fleece but I dunno. I don't want to freak them out by randomly handling them when they never have.

That sounds really warm! LOL

Thank you for the tips too by the way.

No problem. I don't necessarily "grab" a hold of my fuzzies unless it's super important. I take my hand, palm down, and slide the part between my pointer finger and my thumb under them. Keeps them from being scared of my hand and I don't have to grab.Win win situation. You could also try a feather teaser. Or whatever will get her attention. LOL! - I took some fleece tonight and cut a strip, tied a knot about 5 inches to the end of it, added beads and tied it off. They LOVED that!

Kage, check for smells, or sweat.. there are some body washes, perfumes, aftershaves, soaps etc that they don't like, as well as laundry detergents.. also they could be going for the sweat, if you had the fleece jacket on, that had to get warm for you..

I have a male who loves to nibble on ears.. and he also goes after the sweat on the neck

That's a good idea. I'm wandering how that would work if she was on my back. Aww that's a cute idea for a toy. I really like that. I might try that once I get ahold of more fleece and then some beads.
