I am not in the genetic field here and most the time it leaves me in a tail spin, however, I would assume if you bred a cinnie to a grey, your chances would be that you may get a cinnie or you may just get a grey. Same with if you had a lion or a buttercreme. If one parent is of color, seems you would have the chance to get a color out of the breeding pair even if one were only grey. Im sure someone will be along to tell ya for sure.
Are you trying to "mix" colors? I dont think that's possible, but I did have a buttercream paired with a grey and the joey came out golden, so you might get a chocolate out of a cinni/grey.

Thanks, Connor. I already have a grey male, and now I really want a cinnie female, so I was trying to find out if I found someone with a cinnie female and bred her with my grey, if there was a chance of getting another cinnie.

This is a difficult color to breed not becuase they are hard to breed but because people have different definitions of what is and what is not a cinnamon. There are three different types of cinnamon and they are:
1) A glider that is born cinnamon and stays cinnamon throught its lifetime.
2) A glider that is born cinnamon and changes to become grey at maturity.
3) A glider that is born normal that turns cinnamon at maturity.
Remeber that just because a glider looks cinnamondoes not mean it is a cinnamon either. The glider could be scent stained or have a dietary issue. All of these factors must be considered carefully when purchasing a cinnamon to place into your breeding program. Also a type 1 cinnamon might not be controled by the same genes as a type 2 or 3. If you bred a type 1 to a type 2 you may never get a type 1 or type 2 cinnamon.
Now for the genetics. Because cinnamon is so loosly defined and because there might be three types of cinnamon it is difficult to say what the mode of inheriance is for this trait. I would say to assume it is recessive and plan your breeding program around it being recessive, but only pair cinnamons to cinnamons. Even if it is not recessive at least this will give you the greatest chance of producing a cinnamon.

I have a cinnamon paired with a gray, and the babies that they have had seem to have a little brown mixed in with their gray fur and their stripe seems a little more brown. I don't think they would be considered cinnamon though. I have a hard time defining exactly what is a cinnamon anyway though. That is all I can offer.

From my personal experiance with cinnis, which hasn't been a ton - but it's been some. I have a cinnimon pair, from PerfectFormGliders in Vegas - this pair originally came from The Pet Glider, you can see pictures of the male on KrisDeRose's website under colors - cinnimon, his name is Hawk. Anyway they've had 3 babies with me this year, about to up that # to 5 as they're on their third pregnantcy this year! Anyway out of the 3 they've previousely had with me 2 have been cinnis and one's been normal grey. Both parents are cinnimon. The two that where cinnis where born brown and stayed brown. Here's a pic when just oop.

Okay Kikster! THAT baby looks like the stuff in my cinnamon jar! LOL That's the only I can tell if a glider is cinnamon, if it LOOKS like cinnamon. LOL I see lots of gliders that are said to be cinnamon but I don't see anything cept brown or gray.
