Jaxsuggies OP Glider Guardian Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 1,013 Florida	Just talked to a lady at Georgia's Wildlife Resources Comission - Special Permits Unit (770-761-3044) and she confirmed that Suggies are now legal in Georgia. The only requirement is that the buyer needs to buy them from a USDA licensed breeder and obtain a copy of the license and a receipt. jennrose Unregistered J	It's wonderful, though, and I undstand why they only want them bought through a liscensed breeder, that also means that folks in GA can't do any rescues or re-homing for wayward gliders.

Monster Unregistered M	So this also means that people who already own gliders can't move to Georgia unless we can go back to the original breeder & get a copy of their license & a backdated receipt? And people like me who own a glider from poor establishments like Westwind Critters, just have no chance? IMO, this new law is no better...
