I am trying new fruits as my 2 Gliders can be quite picky. I would like to give them guava but am a little concerned with the hard seed like item in its filling and unsure if they can have the peel or the flesh between the peel and filling. I have recently given them passion fruit and they loved it! Papaya is another they like but the regular fruits like cantaloupe and honey Mellon/dew I think they are bored of and a blended mix is not their thing either. I am always changing things up. I welcome all advice smile

Guava is safe. I'm not familiar with this fruit, but looking at pics of it I would just cut into chunks. They won't eat the skin. Not sure about seeds.

Guava (tree) is also on the non-toxic list. Gliders are very good at knowing what they should and should not eat, however, that does not mean we should throw caution to the wind and rely completely on them to make those choices wink

Yep like Terry said guava is safe. I picked up some over the summer to try because I had never had it outside of the flavoring you may get in drinks. I found out that I prefer it in drinks and didn't want the rest to go to waste so I let the gliders try it. All I did was wash, deseed it and chop it into small pieces. My trio didn't care much for it though, sniffed and licked and let it be shakehead perhaps your gliders will though, it's worth a try. Let us know if they do.
