Does anyone have the Freedom Stealth Wheel by Atticworx? I'm upgrading their Brisbane cage to the Congo and currently have a Raptor wheel in there but want to have two wheel cause sometimes all four of them are in the one wheel. I was going to by another Raptor in Green and black but may get the black Freedom Stealth since it looks so easy to clean. The only thing don't like is the X bracket for the back. I take everything out of my cage to clean and clean the cage separately in the house. The X Bracket would mean I'd have to constantly be cutting zip ties and redoing them on the back after I reconnect the wheel, etc. That's why I may shy away from it and stick with getting another Raptor wheel from MyGliderWheels. Any thoughts?

I would love to try one, but my problem is the wheel is 12 3/4" diameter. My door is 12" and barely fits a regular 12" wheel. Also they haven't designed a safe nailed trimmer yet.

I'm not sure the size of your door.

The Congo cage door I'm sure would be large enough. I do not remember the measurements, but they are quite large. Atticworks is temporarily closed now though, due sadly to the hurricane damage.

I have always used Fast Track wheels from Spinzone Global. I have the Apollo wheels (12"), and a Voyager (9"). I did give one of my Voyagers away to someone who needed a wheel for their suggie, so now I have 1 Apollo, 1 voyager, and then recently purchased the treadmill. I love these products! She came out with a new wheel named the Titan as well. I really love how the wheel is interchangeable from the cage mount to floor stand. I have both of those so I can use either mounting for either my Apollo (12") or Voyager (9") wheels. To clean the wheel, I just take the wheel off of the cage mount, but you can remove the cage mount easily enough with the bolts & nuts.

I have 2 raptor wheels and several other brand wheels that came from additions to our glider family. All are build using a lid from a 5 gallon bucket. One of the lids developed a small crack that got bigger until it could be dangerous for the glider feet or tail.
At $40 to $75 dollar a pop for a raptor, I decided to give the all in one freedom wheel a try. As it looked to be more solid and less likely to crack.
I ordered 2 several months ago and they are working great, I have had no problems in these few months. I think I could install nail trimmers from the other wheels but haven't tried yet.

so at this time I give freedom wheel 2 thumbs up.

also,
connor is in the brisbane cage, two smaller doors. I'm not at home but think he has one of the new freedom wheels. I think I had to take off the door to get the wheel to fit without going thru the top.

Thanks for the reply! My Freedom wheel should be delivered tomorrow and I look forward to seeing how they do with it! The stealth wheel I purchased a few months ago and they LOVVVVE it. The only problem was having all four use it at the same time. They didn't seem to mind if 3 of them were holding on while one ran around and they were spinning around like in a washing machine but for me I was like yikes!

Also the Raptor Wheel had a wobble last week. The track and top part were VERY easy to pull apart from the base with a slight tug. I ended up having to pull the track from the base and take out the gasket. I then put the track back in the base and had to push the gasket back in all around the base so that it became tight against the track again. I think the weight of all four gliders in the wheel and them running and jumping gradually made the track pull out from under the gasket. The idea of having the track and top part separate from the wheel while they were running was a scary thought. Now with two wheels they'll hopefully use both. I just have to figure out where to put them both in the Congo cage.

You could go through the floor of the Brisbane cage, that may be easier than dismantling hardware on the cage. Not sure if for you, but the sliding floor grate comes out as well as the drop pan, no hardware to remove. Slide out drop pan, slide the floor grate out enough to pop the wheel up through and set it on the remainder of the floor in the cage. You'd have to approach from back of cage, and maybe need a second person, but maybe not. Just thinking that for cleaning purposes, you may not want to keep dismantling through hardware.

You should have no problem with placement of those two wheels in the Congo, that cage is HUGE!!!

Suggestion: Put one wheel up high and one down lower in the cage. If you put both on the back I would offset them so all the stress isn't on the same wires. I think you'll like the Freedom Wheel - Atticworx did a great job with that design!

Once that cage arrives you'll definitely not wonder where to place them! It's a large cage. Good Luck

They love the new cage! Today my BF and me finally put the Freedom wheel in and moved the Raptor. I put the Freedom wheel towards the bottom back center of the cage and move the Raptor wheel on the right side top center of the cage. I have two shelves on the left towards the top and bottom and I put one a little under the Raptor wheel. Tonight when they come out they'll be like [censored] and afraid of everything for a few minutes as usual I'm sure. :-) I made them some new fall mesh corners shelves and bridges for them too in fall colors. I'm waiting for a a big piece of fleece for their cage cover. I'll post pics of it too when it gets here and the cage is all setup for fall. Then comes Christmas decorating of the cage! lol
