I'm looking at two nearly identical cages, but one has a plastic drop pan and one has a metal one. Which will last longer and absorb less smell?

I know from my experience with rabbits and the metal pans, that eventually they rust and get all gross, even cleaned regulary.......not sure it would be the same with gliders or not
.......IMO I prefer the plastic ones

I hope that this helps!

I prefer the plastic. They don't rust and a short soak in some bleach water gets them clean and non smelly. They also aren't as heavy.
