Hello,

I recieved two gliders three weeks ago, and I was told they were 10-12 weeks old (they were not 100% sure), but that they where very small when they got them.

Today I decided to weigh them, and one came at 25grams, while the other 27grams. Isn't that very small for gliders who should be close to 15 weeks now?

I'm feeding them the homemade vegetable mix from Critter love, and some food made by a vet in Italy (see attached picture). I have ordered critter love complete which should arrive within a week or two. The reason Im swithing to critter love complete is because of they have some cracked fur.

Next week I will see a vet to do check the weel being and feeces examination.

Attached are some pictures of the girls smile

Judging by the pics I think that's about the right weight for them. They look like mine did when they were 25g. I'd say at that point they may have been 6-7 weeks OOP. I think their weight is right and switching to Critter Love Complete is a good choice. I use Critter Love Plus because I like to cook and mix everything together like a masochist. :-b

Are these pellets? Do you have them on any fruits or vegetables?

diet is really important when they are young.

Click on the blue word diet. It will take you to our database. There are calcium to phosphorus ( 2 to 1 ) ratios that need to be followed for optimal health.

Since you are in Norway, you may consider the BML diet.

They look very small to me, I don't think they are as old as you were told.

Keep a close eye on them, you can also give them scrambled eggs or cooked chicken (no spices) until your Critterlove gets to you.

Keep an eye on how much they are eating and please keep us updated on them.

Hello again and thanks for the replies.

The diet is not pellets, but some kind of powder that should not be mixed with water. The suppliers claims it's complete and that it is designed by an italian vet.

I am from Norway, but I live in Croatia.

They get fresh fruits/vegetables everyday, and I use the recipies made by critter love.

You may want to see if Critterlove can ship you some Critterlove Compete or Critterlove Plus.

Go to Critterlove.com for more information.
