[:"green"]Look out in the garden area by the fencing for vinyl coated hardware cloth. They usually have it out there. Also, if they don't carry it locally, you may be able to order it online from Lowe's. You can try the plastic mesh, but your gliders may chew through it. Some do & some don't. HTH
Menards, Home Depot, and Lowes usually have either platic or vinyl coated mesh in 1/2 by 1/2 roles.
I recently picked up 2 roles of green 1/2 x 1/2 19 guage vinyl coated wire mesh at home depot for $7 a role. I've gotten black plastic mesh at menards for I think $15 a role in the past. Last time I was there, they had orange plastic mesh for $8 a role. I've never picked any mesh up at Lowe's, but I don't shop their as often as HD or Menard's because stuff usually cost more there, lol.
Ok i will have to look around, i dont want to pay out the money for them to just chew through it, Ya know. It may be a little cheaper but i want the best for my babies I love tis place everyone is so helpful! Thanks Now how big should i make the door, there will be three gliders in there.the frame is 6'x2.5'x2' (hxwxd) and should i put more than one?
I really like the door setup on my 5' cage from K&D...
I measured the actual doors the other day and they are (from the top down) 14", 12", & 16" square. Now- the actual door part cut out of the cage is a bit smaller but you can make them whatever size you want.
I'd recommend more than one door- it makes life easier... and just make sure that at least one of the doors is big enough to fit a wheel through!!

rofl- I love our cages because one entire side is a door.. but Sarah is right... another thing- Ace Hardware ordered the rolls for me and had them in quickly... just another option for the green vinyl coated mesh- I can't find anyone locally who actually has it in stock, though home depot DID at one point last year when I went to buy it they claimed they never did have it in stock!

I never thought of making a whole side door, thats a good idea! I think I may do that, if I do I could attach the dor with zip-ties right? That is what I am using on the rest of it so I guess it would work? Thanks again everyone. <3 Amber
