IT says on the bottle that it leaves no harmful residue, it is safe to use around kids, pets, and food. It is a Sanatizing spray for no-pourous surfaces....You think it would be ok to clean the cage, and or stealth/ plastic toys with? Let me know what you think

I personally haven't used this, but if it's the same as the clorox wipes only in liquid form then it should be ok. Check the ingredients and see if there is bleach in it. If there's no bleach then you possibley could use it but make sure you do it when the gliders are asleep and you know it will be completley dry before they wake up. For washing wheels and even the cage it is still best to give it a really good wash down in the bath tub or outside with a hose every 2-3 weeks. Clorox is great for daily wipedowns but not for the main cage wash. Hopefully somebody who knows this product will be along with more answers.

Just so everybody knows, bleach IS safe to clean with...AS LONG as it has ample time to dry. (And, as with any cleaning product, I would separate your gliders from the cage when you use it until everything it dries). Bleach is commonly used in zoos, etc. to disinfect animal cages and areas.

I usually use clorox wipes, but i dont like how they leave the suds and i have to wipe it down again with a wet rag. The spray doesnt leave suds, and it has no smell. If i try the spray the gliders will be put in their travel cages i wouldnt feel safe spraying around them :/ Thanks a bunch Lorna!
Gretchen~ Thanks for letting us know I use bleach on my chameleon cages all the time, but i always figured small animals clean themselves with their mouths so it wouldnt be safe to use... I learn somthing everyday

interesting... I have some odd things here myself... but I find that dishsoap in a tub of VERY hot water works best on wheels and toys.. then I use the hose sprayer on the shower to rinse well and all is clean! the cages I use a steam cleaner on... but I would love to find something I could use between times, but the clorox wipes set off several peoples asthma so I am wary of using them around DH... but we shall see.. I do plan on getting a pressure washer within the next few months and taking the cages out and at least hosing them off in the interim.. Amie
