I've recently adopted my first gliders with lineage, Im very excited.

Bento (TPG), the male is a WF mosaic RT, possible piebald (how would I check piebald?)
-His father is 100% het for leucistic - Proven out From a piebald producing family
-His mother is RT, 50% het for leucistic
how do I calculate Bentos %leu? would he be 75% het until proven out?

btw, he has now fathered a joey with a WF Blonde 100% het for leucistic. would the joey be considered 87.5% het?

I've read the thread on Leu and have a question,

if a brother or father to my glider has proven out does that help my gliders numbers in any way?

His mother is 50%, his father is 100% proven and his brother is 100% proven.

Bento is a possible 50% leu het.

There is not enough lineage posted to this next question....

However the brother to Bento if he has thrown a Leu.... and if his mother and father are the same to both Bento and the brother... then this would mean that Bento has a Possibility of being a 66% Leu Het because the parents would be proven 100% Leu Hets.

PS: A pairing with a Possible 50% Leu Het to a WFB/100% Leu het will give you offspring anywhere between Possible 50% to Possible 66% Leu Hets. Myself, I call these offspring only Possible 50% until a leu has been produced and only then do I call them Possible 66% Het for Leu. 50% of the babies produced should also be White Face Blonds on average.
