I changed out some of the food trays the other night. They're spring loaded and usually close automatically. Well, one of them didn't. I got up the next morning (thank God I kept the dogs in the bedroom with the door closed) and stuff was scattered all over the living room floor. Stuff was knocked off of the table and entertainment center. I went to the cage and the little door was open!!!
I looked around for her at lunch and checked every nook and cranny that she could have been sleeping in. I went to the entertainment center and started picking up things that she might be nested in and shaking them gently. I finally got to a Kleenex box. The top of the Kleenexes seemed to be a bit frayed and torn. I picked up the box and it seemed too heavy Shook it a bit and she started crabbing at me! HOOORRRAAAAYYYYYYY!! I found her!!!!! She was in hog heaven in that Kleenex box. She had completely shredded every Kleenex in the box and made her a cozy little nest haha. I took her to her cage and she crawled right into her nesting pouch.
She had me sooooo scared that she would get away, but she did what gliders do best - find a warm spot to nest in. Might be a good thing for glider owners to keep a Kleenex box close to your glider's cage in case they get out

That is great you were able to find her. I would of loved to have been a fly on the wall to see her adventures last night, I bet she had a blast. Thank heaven for happy endings.
