is it bad to wake up my glider during the day? i seem to do it alot by wanting to give him treats and pet him...also showing my friends. ive toned it down alittle but im just wondering if its ok to wake him up periodically?

Well I wake mine up a few times a day just to check on them and the babies. I am sure it wouldnt bother him if u woke him a few times a day.

It depends on the individual glider. One of mine seems very happy to be woken up. Another gets really crabby. Don't expect them to be fully energetic and playful but waking them a couple times a day shouldn't hurt. Besides, when they are half asleep, they seem to be more receptive to human contact during the bonding phaze.

i wake mine up occasionally for the same reasons u do- treats and showing friends. normally my little grumpy glider crabs at me but the other just acts drowsy and goes straight back to sleep when i am done feeding them, ect.

I woke mine up today so that he could sleep in my shirt (since hes a single glider I want him to be with me a lot) and he was running all over the desk and he jumped onto my moms head and she freaked out. Sometimes they're not tired I guess. lol
