At 7 months I don't think it is possible but I could be wrong. Most of my "Mom's" didn't become "Mom's" until they were at least 1-1.5 years. I don't think a 5 month old male is mature enough yet to reproduce. She might just be gaining weight all in one spot like we do.

Actually, it's totally possible that she is prego. There have been females that have gotten pregnant @ 5-6 months OOP. There are males that have reproduced @ 5 months OOP before as well... Congratulations grandma

Thanks for putting it straight. I didn't think they were capable that young but you learn something new every day.

It's not common, but it does happen. Make sure to supplement her with extra protein. Also, you'll need to get stuff in case she rejects the joey. Sheila has a store full of stuff just for rejected joeys at her site To and Fro Gliders. It's very common for young moms and first time moms to reject joeys or not produce enough milk...

Our William fathered Peek just short of 5 mos. of age (OOP). Peek came OOP Mar. 01. It was his first try, but everything was apparently in working order. Mama Troi was just short of 8 mos. OOP when she became pregnant. I'd say you've probably got babies coming! Congrats!

if she is pregnant, you should notice a small pea-sized lump(s) around her pouch area. after the babies have been in there a few weeks, you can feel them (very gently!), then you'll know for sure u've got joeys. if she keeps growing, post pics and keep us updated!
