does she still have the joey in her pouch? If not check the floor of the cage if the joey is not in the sleeping pouch either. If you can't find a joey anywhere, I hate to tell you this, but they might have canabalized it for many reasons. Let us know if you find it.

The joey is still in her pouch, just one day it looked as if she wasn't even pregnant anymore..the next day joey legs hanging out of her pouch...i was under the impression that when parts start hanging out that a joey is almost ready to come out of pouch. maybe it has come out and gone back in?

Yes once you do see body parts the joey is almost here. It can take anywhere from a day to 2 weeks for the joey to come fully oop. Once oop (detached from mommas nipple) momma will still shove the joey back into her pouch and tote him around for a while. This goes on until the joey is just to big to fit any more. If you saw her out and about with no joey ip maybe he is already oop and you just keep catching him at feeding times while he is attached.

I am SOOOO glad the joey is still in mommas pouch. I really do hate having to tell people their gliders ate the baby. I was hoping for the best <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Meg did that with my boys, Victor and Viggo... at first, she looked like she had two, then only one, then... there were two! Silly gliders. They play tricks on us.

Yes those little stinkers are good for their little tricks. My Sweetie Pie is good for that one. 1 Day in the pouch, 1 day out. I swear that she does this to touture me, as she knows that I just wanna pick those littles ones up and give them a great big KISS
