[:"green"]I agree with Leyna about the fact that it's unusual for a joey to be rejected at this age. What makes you believe it's been rejected? Is the mother trying to hurt it at all? Does it have any visible wounds on its face?
If, in fact, the joey is being rejected, I prefer to feed my joeys a Joey Formula. Here's the recipe:
- 1 Tbsp. Gliderade (already liquified with water or Pedialyte)
- 1 Tbsp. Booster Milk or Puppy Formula (already liquified)
- 1 tsp. Baby Cereal (any flavor/variety)
Mix all together until smooth.
For more information, I have set up a page on my website specifically for your situation:
Hand Raising A Joey - please check it out. There are specific age-oriented feeding instructions and directions for making an incubator. I think you will find it helpful.
