Glider Breeders in PA? is it even legal.. - 12/17/04 11:18 PM

I live in Lancaster Pa. I am looking into getting a glider, and i have gotten many different opinions and information regarding the Pa laws. Does anyone know for certain if they are illegal?Anyway if they are legal..anyone know where i can find a breeder/s? are there ways to work around laws, by that i mean, getting a special license? Or would i have to become a breeder??
I really hope that there is a way that i can get one. I have done so much research one them. I am fifteen..so i guess my parents would have to get the liscense if we need one.. If any of you have ANY information about PA laws..or give me someone i could get ahold of, that would be so wonderful. Thanks for your time.

The law states right now as far as I know that if you have gliders in PA you have to buy them from a breeder in PA..

i heard somewhere else that you could only have them if you were grandfathered in and had them for two years...

i would do some careful research.

I'm also in PA and I've been looking for breeders here but not luck. I began to look in Jersey, where there are breeders, but I hear its illegal to import/export gliders in PA. I don't want to end up buying a pair, gettin attached, then getting then taken away and fined.
Any number that could be called to get this clarified?

Where do you get that that broker is in PA? It says GA on their contact page... and it doesn't seem to be a breeder, but a broker; meaning they find it for you, and you pay them for looking.
