If that cage has half inch bar spacing it will work. But it is a cheaper cage and won't stand up in the long run.

I have several of these cages: HQ Flight Cage

If you sign up for Petco's email list they will send you a coupon code for 20 percent off, at least that is what I got and I ordered three cages and with free shipping they came out to $116.04 each and that included the 5.5 percent sales tax I had to pay.

Sadly the one I posted in the link, is 3/4 bar spacing so I went back and looked again and found another one, I get a check monthly, So what I'll do is save up my moneyand keep you in mind and when I need a new cage I'll be sure to post it here on GC.

Addi, I am not selling my cages. I bought several of those for my gliders and that is what it cost me from Petco.

I signed up for their email notifications and they sent me a coupon code good for 20 percent off of my first order. I ordered three cages for myself.

I need to order more when I get some extra money. Probably with my taxes in February. All 6 of my cages like that are full. I have 10 cages of gliders right now. Hopefully the rescues will be going to new homes in the next few weeks here.

Addi - the link for the economical cage you posted is a cage that has many drawbacks

It does have 1/2 inch bar spacing, but it also has slide up doors that will not allow you to put a glider safe wheel into the cage without taking the cage apart.

It will be a noisy cage because it is held together with wires of one side bent around the edge of the next side. It will rattle when gliders are playing in the cage.

The bottom grate is attached and is difficult to clean because it cannot be removed to scrub of food that gliders will drop on it.

If you can, try to save up and get a better quality cage that will last for many years rather than wasting money on an inexpensive cage that will need to be replaced in only a year or two.

I bought a nice cage when I got my first gliders - but it was way too small. I bought a cage exactly like the one you just posted above - the size was good but I had to unbend the wires to open the top to put a wheel in and then zip tie it closed. It was not sturdy enough for a side mounted wheel - it broke the wires. And within about 6 months it was already beginning to rust. The third cage was a large sturdy type cage with large doors and sturdy wire. I am still using this cage 5 years later. For what I spent combined on the first two cages, I could have purchased the good cage in the first place.

Ok, Any site you can recommend... I wouldn't mind doing one of the wrougt iron cages, But I now they can be chewers and wrought iron would give a Sugar glider UTI.
Candi, I saw the Brisbane cage you were talking about in a post, im gonna save up for it smile
