[:"purple"] Okay here's the deal.
I'm getting a 6 foot tall nylon mesh cage for my soon to be VERY FIRST glidy male. Being as its...fabric mesh, I can't really take a babywipe or Lysol wipe and scrub it down each day. It's machine washable, however. So..should I just wash it in the washing machine every couple of day while my glider is in the bonding pouch with me?
Also --- are lysol wipes okay for cleaning his plastic toys? Or should I just wipe em down? [/] <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thanx.gif" alt="" />

Are you speaking about a Reptarium? If not, where are you purchasing this cage from?

If it is a rept, than yes, many take them down and throw them in the wash and hang them up to dry and it works out well. I would only wash it once a week or biweekly though as overcleaning tends to cause gliders to feel they have to mark more and then we have the *smell* around.

As for their toys, with mine, I just fill the tub with water once every other week, put a little bleach in it, throw the toys in there and let them soak about 10-20 minutes and then go scrub them up rinse them off and set them in the sun to dry.

I use clorox wipes for the toys when they get gross between the bleachings! As long as it is dry before they play with them it is okay.

Sounds great! I can do all of that.
And yes, I was speaking of a reptarium.
