Ferret feather teaser safe or not??? - 06/05/06 03:43 PM

I just went to petsmart to buy my ferrets some new toys and picked them up a feather teaser. I thought that maybe my sugar gliders would like one as well so I picked up two. Now I am wondering if it is safe or not. It will only be used for our play time together. I was planning on using it tonight so any suggestions? Has any one used this before?

Looks like it will be a lot of fun. Yes it should be safe, but with all feather toys just use them during supervised playtime. The main worry with teaser toys is that if they are made for cats that they may be treated with cat nip oils. Ferret toys are not treated with the oils and are just fine.

Feather toys are a lot of fun! I have been using them when I play with Lily and Lola!

Zelda loves feather toys as well! I just make sure I don't leave it in the cage just in case.
