Toy with glue

I bought a coconut hut like toy also. It is simply a coconut with everything cut out and holes put in it. It was made for birds so there is a perch. It looks like shotty worksmanship because there is a glue drop a bit smaller than a penny bonding the perch with the coconut. Is there anyway to remove this glue (it is pretty solid), hide it by placing a strip of wood over the floor of it, or should I just toss it. It looks like a really intrigueing toy though. There is a small bell connected on the inside of the coconut and it looks like a fun play house. What should I do? Anyone else got some cool cage toys, pics, or a link? Thanks.

If you have a box cutter you can cut the glue off of it. I have in the past bought things that had a glue spot on it and it may take time, but with a sharp blade you can get it. (just dont cut yourself!)

I have that exact toy. I used some cuticle nippers to hold on to the glue and it pulled right off for me. It wasn't holding to the coconut very well.

I have that same Coconut too- and mine pulled off easily, my pair absolutely LOVE it-they drag blankies inside and try to use it as a pouch-All The Time- and when they wake up they start playing with the bell, I always laugh because it's almost like they're ringing for service!
