Safe Eucalyptus Species? - 04/05/05 09:04 PM
I can tell you that gliders have been documented feeding on the following Eucalypt species (all of which seem to NOT be included in that list previously posted):
Eucalyptus gummifera
Eucalyptus pilularis
Eucalyptus tereticornis
Eucalyptus bridgesiana (as Moster has pointed out)
(Marsupial Nutrition, Cambridge University Press, I. Hume, pg 101)
On the island of Tasmania, gliders mainly feed on this Eucalypt species:
E. delegatensis
Hope this helped! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumb.gif" alt="" />
